ABOUT THE AUM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI TRACK

I wanted the music to reverberate with the underlying meaning of the mantra, so the track is chanted very calmly, intensely and with great feeling. I thought that a lot of bells and gongs would do just to the music, along with a deep reverberating , pulsing drone to illustrate the primordial sound of the AUM

The photography is a take of my own Shiva statue, standing in my living room. The statue is from India, and brought home by my old friend Henrik many years ago. It’s made of Indian granite and weighs ‘a ton’ Henrik told me that the Indian carver had told him ‘I only make masterpieces’ – which I believe is correct:-) – It’s just beautiful.
